PROJECT DETAILS
PROJECT OVERVIEW
This VR game was created as a way to train people on COVID19 and be an escape from the troubles of the world. Mainly focusing on teaching the player proper COVID guidelines and facts about how the virus and how it spreads. This prototype was made in the Unreal Engine using it's powerful VR Support over the course of a few days by myself. The game fully supports all desktop VR Headsets via SteamVR, including HTC Vive, Valve Index, Oculus Rift/Rift S, and Windows Mixed Reality.
MY CONTRIBUTIONS
I created this game by myself over the course of a few days as a prototype. While the models and textures are from the Unreal Marketplace, all the blueprint work and game design was done by me. This included:
Creating the layout of the island using the Unreal Terrain tool.
Design and create the different mini-games across the island.
Create custom gameplay logic to allow the player to interact with the UI, and climb up walls.
Write a custom third person camera that can be controlled within to shoot the trailer.
