Homewatch is a Prototype for a 3D point and click adventure for the web browser. Using Unity's NavMesh, Cinemachine Camera System, and Post Processing Stack to create a lighthearted horror experience.

PROJECT OVERVIEW

Homewatch was a prototype created in the Unity Engine for my Game Technology class, with the goal of combining a narrative experience with a new function of the Unity engine. Focusing on using static cameras and Unity's NavMesh functions to create a point and click horror experience.

MY CONTRIBUTIONS

During the development of this game, I served as the solo developer, handling:

  • Designed the house layout and the UI

  • Figuring out the best placement of cameras to ensure viability while setting the mood.

  • Wrote a story that would spook the player, while allowing for a gag ending.

  • Programmed all the behaviors of the game using C#
